The History of R and R Min Pins

It all started when I signed up for an obedience class with my Mom.  Through that class, we met all sorts of dog people.  Mom started to pursue Chihuahuas, and has had a lot of fun with them.  I, on the other hand, fell in love with a black and tan Min Pin she was babysitting for a friend.  Cruizer was gorgeous!  He had all of the charm that his breed is known for and then some.  When I met him, he had been seperated from the rest of the dogs because he was driving the female Chihuahuas insane (he wasn't fixed, since he was still working torward his breed championship).  I went back to say hello, and he was so excited to see me that he began the famillar Min Pin bounce, jumping about waist high with each bounce.

Cruizer went back to Connie, and I went back to college, but I let Mom know in no uncertain terms that I wanted that dog or one just like him.  Mom told Connie, and they started to look for a good dog for me, since I was getting my first apartment.  A couple of dogs were considered, but I wanted Cruizer.

I went out for Memorial Day Weekend, and got the shock of a life time:  I could have Cruizer.   He had finished his breed championship, and was driving the females insane.   Without a second thought I scooped Cruizer up and brought him to my home in Milwaukee, WI.

That's how the plague started.  Now I have two of them, and they are like having a pair of hyperactive two year olds that will never grow up.  And I adore them.

Oh, the name R and R was suggested at a recent dog show.  It stands for Rejects and Retirees, the kind of Min Pins that I own.
